Who we are
Lyrical SoNGbirds are a small group of singing ladies with varied musical experience who love learning and performing a wide range of repertoire genres together to the best standards they can achieve of music with up to 4 individual harmony parts. We sing from sheet music but don’t actually need to read music as we can also easily learn from tracks specially prepared for our part by the Musical Director. We enjoy the challenge of rehearsing and performing together as a team, led by our enthusiastic and friendly Musical Director whilst enjoying the social aspect of the choir too with meals and other social occasions. There is no audition or voice test required to join, just the ability to learn your part and sing it confidently. We have about 20 members and perform both formally and informally to a wide selection of audiences from Care Homes to Concert Stages.

We rehearse in Wollaton on Tuesday mornings between 10 am and 12 o’clock
